This book was entertaining as are all the Samantha Duncan stories. But, this one was not so well laid out or developed. I love these stories and her tight plot and ways of turning the plot to reach a solution are always one of the best parts of the story. This just wasn't true in this one.Product details

I am looking forward to the next book featuring Samantha and her friends. They are people I would like to know. I always learn about a new (to me) topic. The protagonist is always kind, even to the "bad guys."
I only have one complaint about Daisy Thurbin's mysteries, they are over too fast. Samantha and her friends take you into their everyday lives and you are very comfortable there. This episode ended a little too abruptly for me. I could have used a little more detail regarding the solving of this crime, but as always I am anxious for her next book. Keep it up Daisy, you and your husband are two of my favorites.
I like all the Samantha Duncan books. Just wish they were longer so I could spend more time with Samantha and Annie!
It was fun to meet a new author, at least new to me.
A bit slower than the others in this series
Good book. Quick read.
I felt it was a little slow at the beginning , but thoroughly enjoyable reading. It also finished rather quickly. I don't normally read current mysteries but this one was entertaining.
